Frequently asked questions

Can I share entries with my team?

No. Every Keepless account is a personal vault – deliberately, so that only you hold the key. Each team member uses their own vault.

What happens if I forget my master password?

We cannot reset it – that is the price of real end-to-end encryption. Keep it somewhere safe.

What if Keepless disappears one day?

Your vault lives in your browser and can be exported as a JSON file at any time. The extension's source code is public under the MIT licence, so it can be kept running without us.

Why does sync cost money if the extension is open source?

The extension is free and stays free. With Pro you pay for the servers that store and sync your encrypted vault across devices – and for the further development of Keepless.

How many devices can I connect?

Pro and Lifetime include 5 devices. Each additional device costs €1,20 per month incl. VAT and can be added in your dashboard at any time.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome, Edge, Brave and Vivaldi on Windows, macOS and Linux. A Safari version for macOS is coming soon.

Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. The 14-day Pro trial starts without a credit card.
